Referees are essential every weekend across the county and nation. A referee society facilitates this, with society officers liaising with Cornwall RFU and clubs via the 'Whose the Ref' platform, a site dedicated to sourcing sports referees.
Our fixtures and appointments secretary ensures widespread game coverage each weekend, assigning referees to matches based on their grading.
Club feedback is crucial for success and maintaining relationships with clubs and county officials is key. We have referees serving on various committees for this purpose.
The society's executive committee, elected by members for fixed terms, always welcomes new applicants for roles. It is accountable to our members, active referees and assistant referees, coaches, advisors, life members and social members alike. Our website permits all members to join as associate members.
